The Public Health Committee recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Termination of certain Provisions of the Law "On Sanitary and Epidemic Well-Being of the Population" (re Harmonization of Normative Acts within the Scope of Preparation and Holding of the Final Part of the European Football Championship 2012)

For the period of preparation and holding of the Final Part of the European Football Championship 2012, the Bill (Reg. No. 5194) terminates the effect of Paragraphs of Clause 24 of the effective Law concerning protection of people from the harmful influence of noise.

The People´s Deputies expressed certain remarks concerning the Bill. Thus, the proposed amendments violate the Constitutional right of the Ukrainian citizens for sanitary and epidemic well-being, safe conditions of work and rest, proper environmental conditions, reimbursement of harm inflicted by the violations of these standards.
